About Us

Welcome to Presence City Church. Our mission is to carry God's Presence every place we go, to every person we meet.

We are dedicated to being formed in the way of Jesus, living on mission as His witnesses, pursuing the unity of God's family, and existing as conduits of His generosity.

Our heart is to encounter God and be transformed by His Presence, so we can reflect His love to the world around us.

At our Sunday gatherings, you can expect deep, yet relevant teaching from God’s Word, worship that connects you with God’s Presence, and a community that is

 warm and welcoming.

  • His Presence is our Pursuit

  • We seek to be formed in the way of Jesus instead of being conformed to the ways of culture.

  • We carry God’s Presence every place we go and to every person we meet.

  • We seek to embody a unity that the world is longing for.

  • The joy of Jesus is found more on the giving side of life than the getting side of life.

Our Vision

We carry God’s Presence every place we go and to every person we meet.

01

THE BIBLE

The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21.

02

THE TRINITY

Scripture reveals that God is one, eternal, and self-existent in three persons: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.

 Matt. 3:13-17; 28:19; Jn. 1:1-2, 14; Jn. 4:24; Acts 5:3-4; Eph. 4:5-6; Phil. 2:6-11; 2 Cor. 13:14)

03

JESUS

The Only Son of God, Savior, and Soon Coming King.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.  The Scriptures declare his:  Virgin birth (Mt. 1:23; Lk. 1:31,35);  Sinless life (Heb. 7:26; 1 Pt. 2:22); Miracles (Ac. 2:22; 10:38);  Substitutionary work and the defeat of the demonic powers on the cross (1 Co.15:3; 2 Co.5:21; Col. 2:13-15); Bodily resurrection from the dead (Mt. 28:6; Lk. 24:39; 1 Co. 15:4);  Exaltation to the right hand of God (Ac.1:9, 11; 2:33; Ph. 2:9, 11; Hb.1:3); and His Personal & Imminent Return

04

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit brings conviction of sin, revelation of the truth of the Gospel of Christ, drawing of the sinner to God, baptizes into the Body of Christ, and the distribution and administration of the Gifts and Fruit of the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life. Jesus Christ is the “baptizer with the Holy Spirit” for the empowerment of the Church through the Baptism with the Holy Spirit.

(Jn. 16:8 14:26, 6:44; Acts 1:4-5, 1 Cor. 12:13, 1 Cor. 12:11; Gal. 5:22-23).

05

MIRACLES

Miracles and healings were the works of Jesus and His disciples to demonstrate and confirm the inbreaking of God’s Kingdom on earth. Jesus empowers His church with the Holy Spirit to do these works and to advance His Kingdom today.

(Matt. 4:17, 23, 12:28, 28:19-20; Lk. 4:18-19; Jn. 9:4, 10:37; Rom. 8:11; 1 Cor. 12:9-10)

06

HUMANITY

Mankind was created good and upright; but by voluntary disobedience, fell into sin and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.  Mankind’s only hope of salvation is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, giving us forgiveness of sin, eternal life, and power to live separated from evil.

(Gen.1:26-27; 2:17; 3:6; Jn. 3:16; Rm. 5:12-19, 10:9-10, 12:1)

07

THE CHURCH

The church is to carry out the work of Christ in this world, equip people for ministry, exist in oneness, and participate in baptism and communion.

(Jn. 17:11; Acts 1:8; Matt. 28:19-20; 1 Cor. 12:12-26; 1 Co. 11:26, Eph. 4:11-16).

(Gen.1:26-27; 2:17; 3:6; Jn. 3:16; Rm. 5:12-19, 10:9-10, 12:1)

08

OUR FUTURE

Death for the believer is not an event to be feared but a promotion to anticipate.  Jesus is right now preparing an eternal home for all who know him – so that we may live with him forever.

(1 Th. 4:16, 17; Rm. 8:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Co. 15:51,52; Rev. 21-22)
